Kevin took these photos on an epic weekend bike journey -with the usual cast of characters- through Brooklyn to the New Calvary cemetery. I have always loved the way these headstones mimic the Manhattan skyline just beyond them like some miniature-model-land that pretty much sums it all up, in the more daring & truthful of Clichés, with its unassuming resemblance the skyscrapers beyond…. Yah. So anyway, these are some beautiful people feeling the Power of love over death…
All the other parties won’t be as good! Now you don’t have to worry about where you’re gonna go!

It’s so good to see how amazing Othelo is doing these days. And glad that back when I first realized what a true beast this kid was and would eventually be, I was right on. What this article fails to mention is that Othelo’s big leap into NY stardom came way back when we were both a couple of kids trying to make our imprint on the Big Apple. Its crazy to see how a conversation with Scott and game of pool at the perogi bar in Williamsburg has blossomed into Othelo taking the NYC scene by the balls. Big ups Ozone.
