Natural Black

Go to the dark side with these rockstar stones.

They may sound and maybe even look a little like a Rock-n-Roll band, and that’s at least part of why we love them.

The Natural Black Diamond is typically an included stone, one so deeply colored by Carbon that reads as Black. Some types of inclusions are named ‘Feathers’ for the wispy nature of the flaw, which is certainly one way of describing what is going on inside these stones.

The density of inclusions—which can resemble feathers or speckles—gives these Hazy, Rustic, or Salt-and-Pepper Diamonds their signature uniqueness.

We think the Pear Rose-cut in this Yellow Gold Rosette just about sums it up—at once painterly and appropriately punk.
