Little by little I’m getting through the images of last week’s Pulse Art Fair in NYC.. and I am literally more inspired at every glance back over the pictures. What a wonderful treat to see so much work from around the world in such a short few days….. I loved several artists in this gallery from Stockholm [name escapes me now but I will find it!] including these works from film, cut together and transposed onto plywood.
Christian Saldert The Destructive Efficiency of External Lightning
Massive wooden rosary sculpture I adore by Carly Waito
And I am now completely obsessed with this Cuban artist- Ivån Capote Vanitas
[more to come on him!]
Obsessed with the skull paintings by Tom French….. beautifullllllll to the est!

“Like a costume or other identity, my work reveals something that is behind the face that suddenly becomes in front. It’s like a mask – not a mask you put on, but something that grows out of you.”
